A new, rapid brightening started on 2016 February 6, being detected, among others, by Gary Poyner, David Boyd and Ramon Naves and Montse Campas. This peaked on February 16 at R=13.45. Yet another rapid and continuous brightening started on February 28. At 23:48UT on March 3 Naves and Campas measured R=13.15, with the upward trend still continuing (see ATel 8768). It is possible that this maximum may surpass the peak of early December 2015.
