THE ASTRONOMER Electronic Circular No 6 1987 Feb 19 19.40UT. YZ Cancri Further to the note on E-circ 5, S.Lubbock, Bridgend, has reported this star in outburst. On Feb 18 the magnitude was 11.7. The result has been relayed to IUE astronomers in Madrid who have asked TA observers to monitor it daily until the end of March 1987. The star is located at: RA 08h07m52s DEC +28d 17'.6 (1950). The star is of UGSU type, period approx 11days, extreme mag range 10.2-14.6p. Please E-mail estimates daily. Charts available on request.
