TA Chart Catalogue
A revised edition of this catalogue has been produced to replace
the 1/87 issue, and for the first time, this is available on
e-mail via our TA Database Service. The cost is just 1 pound as a
special offer to our e-circular subscribers compared with 2 pounds
for the paper version. Unfortunately, because of its size, anyone
on an overseas e-mail system (but not overseas subscribers using
MICROLINK) will have to pay _3.00 to cover extra transmission
charges.
The new catalogue contains data on 410 objects which are plotted on
240 different charts. Details include name, RA & DEC, magnitude,
amplitude if variable, type classification, chart availability in
three types (A=finder, B=telescopic, C=High Power), limiting
magnitude of sequence, quality of sequence and latest chart
revision date.
Objects covered include GCVS variables, NSV and other suspected
variables, novae, supernovae, NGC galaxies on the SN search
programme, optical components of X-ray sources, extragalactic
variables, QSO's and much more.
Send now by e-mailing MAG60138 with request for
'TA Chart Catalogue'. The cost will be added to your account as
detailed in the TA database notes.
If anyone requires a complete set of the 240 charts this can be
supplied on receipt of a payment of 25 pounds for UK, post paid.
Overseas should add 3 pounds.
