P/COMET LONGMORE (1987c1)
This comet has been recovered by J.Gibson with the 1.5-m refl. and
CCD at Palomar and by J.Scotti with the SPACEWATCH camera on Kitt
Peak which confirm a tentative result on 1986 Dec 29. The latest
results on Nov 19 place the comet at m2=19 and close to the
predictions on MPC 11519.                          IAUC 4493

COMET ICHIMURA (1987d1)
H.Kosai, Toyko Astronomical Observatory, reports the discovery of a
comet by Yoshimi Ichimura, Yoshimi-machi, Saitama:

The discovery was made with 0.12-m binoculars and the comet
described as diffuse without condensation. Other observers suggest
that it is a very difficult object with coma diameters of up to 12'
mentioned.
