CH UMa Several observers report that this eruptive variable situated at RA 10h03m.15 DEC +67d47'(1950) was above minimum and showing possible rapid fluctuations last night. Available results follow: Feb 20.812UT, 14.4 (S.Lubbock, 0.44-m refl) 20.9 13.7 (M.Gainsford, 0.26-m refl.) 20.904 14.2 (Lubbock) 20.910 13.7 (G.Hurst, 0.44-m refl) 21.248 (13.7 (Lubbock) Observations at half-hourly intervals are needed to establish whether this star shows a systematic flickering in between major outbursts. Please E-mail results daily and B&W photos would also be useful. P.S. Observation by Hurst is first with newly installed 44.4cm f4.5 reflector.Last night's limiting magnitude was about 16.0. stronomer.
