SLOW-MOVING SATELLITES
Following the announcement of flashing objects on E-193, N.James
and M.Mobberley report photography of very slow moving satellites
the magnitude of which constant, on Aug 9 and 19.
Q1988/42 (Aug 9)
The first was recorded on film exposed 0230-0241, appearing on
several patrol shots as mag 5 and passing RA 22h50m DEC +58 at
02.38UT. Movement 1.8deg S and 2.9deg W over 11 minutes.
Q1988/43 (Aug 19)
The second was recorded 2155-2157UT moving 2.75degN and 0.5deg E,
approx mag 6, going north along RA 21h and passing +32deg Dec.
Anyone able to offer ID's for these and the previous two objects?
