RZ LEONIS
Stefan Korth and Patrick Schmeer, Federal Republic of Germany,
report the outburst of RZ Leonis, a star on the UK Nova/Supernova
Patrol's Recurrent Objects list.
The star is located at: RA 11h34m39s DEC +02 05.5'(1950).
Available visual observations:
1989 Mar 6.993UT, [13.3 (Schmeer)
        10.924 13.4 (Korth)
        10.965 13.5 (Schmeer)
The star was last seen in outburst in 1987 Nov (cf IAUC 4504).

ST GEMINORUM
Hans Bengtsson, Sweden, e-mails that the recent maximum of ST Gem
was unusually bright (cf E269) followed by a rapid fading:
1989 Jan 28.95UT, 9.5 (C.Jansson, 0.25-m refl)
     Feb 21.78 11.6 (do.)
         23.79 11.3 (do.)

TX CANES VENATICI
Hans Bengtsson also reports that this variable is one degree in
error on Uranometria.

W LYR
Hans Bengtsson also e-mails that the star marked as W Lyr on
Uranometria is actually one of the comparison stars.

ATLAS OMISSIONS/ERRORS
In view of recent reports, subscribers are asked whether they feel
it is worth continuing this project which was originally to log
stars missing from the SAO Atlas. This yielded a vast number of
entries because the atlas was not complete to magnitude 9 as the
introduction suggested. The SAO Atlas may not now be extensively
used but Uranometria and Borealis/Eclipticalis have become the
standards where stars as faint as magnitude 9 are needed. Should
we produce a new list based on these atlases?
