SV SAGITTAE
Patrick Schmeer (MAG70250) reports that this R CrB star is fading
and on May 5.07UT was at magnitude 11.7v. He mentions that the
last fade started 12/80 and finished around 11/82. The position is:
RA 19h05m58s DEC +17 32.9'(1950)

Q1989/28
Various observers confirm that no new object has appeared in
NGC 3147.

TASV 1949+51 (=Q1989/29)
Further research by Mike Collins indicates that there is no NEW
object at the original position but that the northern component
of a neighbouring double star may have varied. The component is
located at:
RA 19h49.2m DEC +51 25'(1950)
and has a companion at PA 125 deg.
A finder chart is available on e-mail request but in the meantime
a prime focus photograph would help towards further chart
improvement. Please monitor this double against labelled stars to
establish if further variation is detected.
