TAV 2034+61 (=Q1989/50)
Mike Collins, Sandy, Beds (MAG36908) reports his discovery of a
variable star on photos for the UK Nova/Supernova Patrol at:
RA 20h34.2m DEC +61 38'(1950).
He reports the following estimates from exposures on K2415:
1989 Apr 8.1UT, 10.8; May 3.1, 9.8; 7.0, 9.6; 28.0, 9.8; June 26.1,
10.2. On Papadopoulos (1976 Aug 5.3UT) it is 10.8.
The Editor notes that it is at the limit of the patrol master for
area 5 (1978 Dec 4) at about 11.0 ( based on Kodak 2475).
On Atlas Stellarum (1969 July 14) it is present at about magnitude
B=12.0. Lick has B=13.5: (1954 Aug 7).
The star = IRAS 20341+6137 and = DC 38642 (Dearborn Catalog of
Faint Red Stars where it is listed as of red magnitude 11.1 and
Spectral type M6.
A (B) chart is available on e-mail request.

WX CETI
Rob McNaught, Australia (6007:GED001) e-mails recent results on
this star: June 25.83UT, 15.6pv; 27.83, 15.9. (Uppsala Southern
Schmidt). He suggests this may be identical to the behaviour of
WZ Sge in 1978/79 when, after a fade of 2 magnitudes, there was a
recovery.
