TASV 2321+46 (=Q1989/53)
Mike Collins (MAG36908) reports his discovery of an uncatalogued
suspected variable on UK Nova Patrol photos taken on K2415 with
135mmFL lENS AND LOCATED:
RA 23H21.4M DEC +46 35'(1950)
On Papadopoulos (760726) it is 10.3. On 1989 Jan 2 it was estimated
at 9.9 fading to 10.6 by July 13.
It is believed the star = IRAS 23216+4635 = DO 43000.

VW HYDRI
A report has been received from New Zealand that this SU UMa dwarf
nova is undergoing a superoutburst reaching 8.5 on July 12.

V854 CENTAURI
W.A.Lawson et.al., Mount John University Observatory report a
decline in this R CrB star (formerly NSV 6708). On June 22.52UT
V=7.44; July 17.31, 8.8.                         IAUC 4814

P/COMET BRORSEN-METCALF (1989o)
Recent visual estimates suggest a brightening to mag 8 by July 16.
