V745 SCORPII
W.Liller, Chile, reports his discovery of a nova at:
       RA 17h52.1m DEC -33 13'(1950).
Magnitude estimates from K2415 film:
July 24.02UT, [12; 30.08, 9.7; 31.02, 9.7.
He suggests this is a recurrence of V745 Sco (=Plaut V139) the last
known outburst of which was detected 1937 May 10. Duerbeck has
identified this object with a mag 21 star on a UK Schmidt Plate.
Further observations are urgently required.

JANET CIRCULARS
As you may be aware, we have experienced problems with transmitting
these circulars from our RGO box following their upgrade of
software. This circular is being sent via both Sussex and RGO.
Could ALL subscribers (except MICROLINK/DIALCOM) please acknowledge
that they received both copies and advise us of any differences.
Please also advise you whether you receive a 'header' giving the
names of others receiving the circular of which there are nine. The
computer manager is anxious to resolve this and a reply by Aug 2 at
18.00UT would be useful.
