Copies can be obtained by contacting him on 07:GED001. He also calculates the possibility of a meteor shower from debris from this object. The radiant during nodal passage on Aug 18.66UT: RA 14h40m DEC -21 deg (1950). Atmospheric velocity 18.5 km/sec. Activity could continue over the next week with the radiant moving towards the position of the Sun at about 1 deg/day. Rob hopes to send further notes on searching for asteroids which we plan to publish in Sept TA. R CRB Over recent months we have repeatedly receive reports from numerous observers of a fade of R CrB. These have often been followed by 'brighter' estimates. This continued up to last night when the scatter was 7.0-7.4. Please continue regular coverage.
