On 1989 Mar 3.9UT his patrol photo showed it below 11.7 and not visible. The Editor estimates it at 13.5B on Stellarum (1969 Aug 10/11) and at about 15B on Lick (1954 Sept 27). TAV 0451+69 (= Q1989/96) Mike Collins also reports discovery of an uncatalogued variable at: RA 04h51.8m DEC +69 22'(1950) which is bright in 1988 Dec 20, 10.9 but faint on a current patrol photo of 1989 Nov 29.9UT, 12.1. The Editor notes a clear difference in brightness on blue-sensitive atlases: 1954 Oct 30, 14.5B (Lick Atlas) 1969 Oct 7, 12.0B (Atlas Stellarum) A chart can be sent on e-mail request TASV 0356+34 (= Q1989/102) Mike Collins has found a possible variable at: RA 03h56.5m DEC +34 33'(1950) which he estimates at mag 10.8 on 1989 Dec 18.0UT whereas it is near 11.7 on 1989 Jan 5.
