TASV 1913+25 (Q1990/44)
Mike Collins, Sandy, reports his discovery of a suspected variable
star in Vulpecula during his photographic searches for the UK Nova/
Supernova Patrol. The object located at: RA 19h13.1m DEC +25 07'
(1950) was recorded at magnitude 11.3 (135mmFl, K2415) on 1990
May 16.9UT whereas on 1989 March 18 the brightness was 10.3. The
star is not a catalogued variable and a chart is available from
the Editor on request. The e-mail version can be obtained by sending
a request to Mike Collins on MAG36908

NSV 12178 (Q1990/45)
Mike Collins also reports rediscovery of NSV 12178 (RA 19h32m36s
DEC +23 46.7',1950) on May 16.9UT at mag 8.7, having faded from
1989 March 18 (7.1). IBVS 3443 carried a note of this star under
designation DHK6. Charts are available on request.

AS 296= FG SERPENTIS? (Q1990/53)
Emile Schweitzer, Strasbourg, informs us that he finds this
symbiotic variable to be the same object as FG Serpentis although
the quoted positions differ slightly:
AS 296 18h12m36s DEC -00 20' (1950)
FG Ser 18h12m38s DEC -00 16.2(1950)
The published discovery charts confirm they both refer to the same
object. The TA chart, (M.Morel) will be revised. He also mentions
that BB Ser is incorrectly shown in this field.
