The object located at: RA 19h13.1m DEC +25 07' (1950) was recorded at magnitude 11.3 (135mmFl, K2415) on 1990 May 16.9UT whereas on 1989 March 18 the brightness was 10.3. The star is not a catalogued variable and a chart is available from the Editor on request. The e-mail version can be obtained by sending a request to Mike Collins on MAG36908 NSV 12178 (Q1990/45) Mike Collins also reports rediscovery of NSV 12178 (RA 19h32m36s DEC +23 46.7',1950) on May 16.9UT at mag 8.7, having faded from 1989 March 18 (7.1). IBVS 3443 carried a note of this star under designation DHK6. Charts are available on request. AS 296= FG SERPENTIS? (Q1990/53) Emile Schweitzer, Strasbourg, informs us that he finds this symbiotic variable to be the same object as FG Serpentis although the quoted positions differ slightly: AS 296 18h12m36s DEC -00 20' (1950) FG Ser 18h12m38s DEC -00 16.2(1950) The published discovery charts confirm they both refer to the same object.
