SUPERNOVA 1990M IN NGC 5493
R. Evans, Hazelbrook, N.S.W., reports his discovery on June 15.45 UT
of an apparent supernova in NGC 5493 (R.A. 14h08.9m, Decl. = -4 49',
equinox 1950.0), located 15" west and 4" north of the galaxy's
centre. T. Cragg, Siding Spring Observatory, confirmed the object
visually at mag 13.5.

PERIODIC COMET WOLF-HARRINGTON (1990e)
J. V. Scotti reports his recovery of this comet with the 0.91-m
Spacewatch telescope at Kitt Peak, as given below. The June 14.413
image shows a 10" tail in p.a. about 250 deg. The indicated
correction to the prediction on MPC 13057 is Delta(T) = +0.01 day.
