On 1990 Sept 9.82UT he recorded it at magnitude approximately 12 using a 0.20-m S-C telescope. In response to our alert, G.Poyner, Birmingham, confirmed the event with an estimate on Sept 9.90UT at 11.3 (although the value is uncertain due to cloud interference, identification was positive). The observation was made with a 0.21-m reflector. TA AGM 1990 This year's meeting of our group will take place on 1990 November 24 at St.Mary's Church Hall, in Basingstoke Town Centre. Further details will be released shortly but in the meantime please make a note in your diaries. Guy M Hurst
