SUPERNOVA 1991T IN NGC 4527
The editor has found two exposures each of NGC 4527 and NGC 4536,
with equivalent length exposure times, taken on 1983 Feb 22 by the
late Alan Young. A preliminary sequence has been deduced from the
negatives held in the archival collection, courtesy of Peggy Young.

The possibility that this supernova has been caught on the rise,
is very bright and the galaxy is currently very well placed in
the early evening sky provides an excellent opportunity to study
this object over a prolonged interval. Please e-mail your results
quoting date, time (UT decimal), full estimate (eg A-1;B+2etc),
deduced magnitude, class, and instrumentation.
Paper versions of the preliminary (C) chart can be supplied to
current subscribers on e-mail request.

SV SAGITTAE
We have received a request from professional astronomers for
intensive coverage of this R CrB variable during its current fade
(cfE505). The latest estimate by G.Poyner (Birmingham) places it
at 13.4 on Apr 16 (02.35UT). Please e-mail results daily.
