Patrick Schmeer, Germany, e-mails that this Z Cam-type dwarf nova
is undergoing another standstill, the previous one having occurred
from mid-August 1990 (cf. TA E-Circular No. 443) to 1991 February
15 (cf. TA E-Circular No. 488). He provides the following visual
estimates for 1991 May:
May  15.08  UT, (12.1 ; 21.071,  11.4 ; 23.074,  11.2 ;
     24.076 UT,  11.4 ; 25.069,  11.4:; 27.083,  11.4 ;
     28.072 UT,  11.4 ; 30.071,  11.4:; 31.072,  11.4 ;

DWARF NOVAE PRO-AM CAMPAIGN
Professional astronomers at Oxford have again asked us to
participate in joint observing runs on dwarf novae while they
monitor stars with the International Ultraviolet Explorer. They
wish to be alerted to ANY dwarf nova which starts to rise to
maximum.
The campaign will last throughout June and, if you detect the
start of a rise please telephone me on (0256) 471074 up until
11pmBST (22.00UT) each evening. For events found during the night
please telephone me between 6.30am and 7.00am (5.30-6.00UT) the
following morning. If you cannot obtain a reply telephone Martin
Mobberley at the numbers quoted in 'The Astronomer'.
In addition please e-mail a summary of ALL your dwarf nova results
on June 5 (for estimates made since June 1) and again on June 24
(for the month to date). These arrangements will stop on June 30.
Please e-mail as soon as possible to indicate the names of
observers who wish to take part.
