COMET LEVY (1991q)
Dan Green, Central Bureau for Astronomical Telegrams, telexes that
David H.Levy of Tuscon, USA has discovered a new comet with a
0.41-m f/5 reflector:
1991 June 14.448UT RA 01h42.2m DEC +13 32'(1950)  m1=8

PERIODIC COMET CHERNYKH (1991o)
J. V. Scotti, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, reports his recovery
of this comet on Spacewatch images by himself and D. Rabinowitz.
On June 10.460 there was a coma about 8" across and a faint tail
extending more than 8" in p.a. 252 deg. The indicated correction
to the prediction on MPC 14592 (ephemeris on MPC 17841) is delta
T = -2.4 days.

PERIODIC COMET SHOEMAKER 1 (1991p)
P. M. Kilmartin, Mount John Observatory, reports that this comet
has been recovered by A. C. Gilmore and herself. The images are
diffuse, and the last one is very weak. The indicated correction
to the prediction on MPC 13046 (ephemeris on MPC 17471) is delta
T = -0.6 day.
