Seargent (The Entrance NSW); 26.375UT 7.7v (Camilleri); 26.375UT 7.7v (Seargent); 26.510UT 7.6v (Camilleri); 26.570UT 7.6v (Camilleri); 27.458UT 7.6v (Seargent); 27.52 UT 7.6v (G. Garradd Tamworth NSW); 28.366UT 8.2v (Camilleri); 28.375UT 8.2v (Garradd); 28.536UT 8.2v (Camilleri). Pam Kilmartin communicates the following photometry obtained by Alan Gilmore at Mount John Observatory under marginal conditions: May 26.40 UT, V = 7.26 +/- 0.08, B-V = +1.19 +/- 0.03, U-B = +0.79 +/- 0.05, V-R = +0.72 +/- 0.02, V-I = +1.52 +/- 0.03. The following position has been measured from an exposure by Gilmore at Mount John Observatory with the 0.15-m astrograph on May 26.4 UT: R.A. = 17h03m42s.69, Decl. = -43 11'26".5 (1950) mean residuals 0".25 in R.A., 0".47 in Dec.). NO SUPERNOVAE 1992W, 1992X (cf E639) J. Mueller, Palomar Observatory, reports that a complete reduction by W. Sargent of the spectra mentioned on IAUC 5517 indicates that a preliminary misinterpretation occurred and that the objects called SN 1992W in MCG +08-23-096 and SN 1992X in MCG +06-32-024 are both actually foreground M-dwarf stars. IAUC 5528 PG 0943+521 Further to the reports on E635 and E636, Gary Poyner, Birmingham reports the following estimates from which it seems the star has recovered from minimum: May 9.916UT, 13.0; 13.916, [14.1; 16.947, [14.7; 17.920, 15.2; 18.923, 12.5; 18.945, 12.6; 18.976, 12.7.
