In response to an appeal e-mailed to a number of observers in
Australia and New Zealand requesting confirmation of the report by
Colin Henshaw (cf E749) that this R CrB-type variable is fading,
further reports are now available.
Alan Gilmore, New Zealand, has e-mailed that Albert Jones
independently noted the fade with the following estimates
available:
1993 June 1.8UT, 5.9; 15.4, 6.9; 20.4, 7.1; 26.8, 7.4; 27.7, 7.7;
28.3, 7.8.
Tom Richards, Australia has relayed results in response to our
alert:
June 28.431, 7.5 (Peter Nelson, Warragul, Victoria)
