V. Scotti, Lunar and Planetary Laboratory, reports his recovery of this comet with the Spacewatch telescope on Kitt Peak. On July 20 the observations through three airmasses and in twilight showed a coma of diameter 8". The indicated correction to the prediction on MPC 16381 is Delta(T) = +0.04 day. 1993 UT R.A. Available observations: 1993 July 17.44UT, 13.3; 20.45, 11.7. VZ SGR Paul Camilleri also reports that Peter Williams has observed a fading of VZ Sgr (R-CrB type variable) located at: RA 18h11m57s DEC -29 43.4' (1950) Available observations: 1993 June 25.80UT, 10.6; July 17.41, 11.6; 20.45, 12.4.
