HR LYRAE
This variable (=Nova Lyrae 1919) is located at:
RA 18h 51.5m DEC +29 10' [1950].
It has been proposed as a possible candidate for recurrent outburst
in a list published by Commission 27 of the IAU at the 1967
Assembly and we have therefore added it to the recurrent objects
programme. The identification is from Humason, Astrophys.J.88, 228
[1938].
The catalogued range (GCVS VI) is: 6.5-15.8pg and we would welcome
photographs or CCD images of the object at minimum to check the
accuracy of the GSC download below.
The sequence is based on Steavenson, MNRAS 95, 642, [1935] agrees
with that of the AAVSO with the addition of star J of 15.3 omitted
from the AAVSO version.
A (b) version of the e-mail chart is now also available as part of
the FINDVGA.EXE original or upgrade purchase.

Whilst we continue to welcome observations of this star, we have
decided to drop it from the formal list of recurrent objects in
view of the frequent outbursts observed recently.
