Using a 0.35-m Newtonian he observed it on Mar 20 at 22.35UT with an estimated visual magnitude of 14.6. He mentions that previous outbursts were recorded on 1991 April 6 and 1992 Feb 29. Confirmationary observations are sought. Whilst preparing the chart below, the Editor found that using FINDVGA.EXE by N.James the (2000) position readout with the cursor on the location given in the AAVSO (e) chart was: RA 09h12m17s DEC +50 53'28" Although this position may not be regarded as fully precise, it does appear that the variable is 3-4 arcminutes north of the position quoted in the GCVS and mentioned at the heading of the AAVSO chart: GCVS 09h08m53s +51 02' (1950) GCVS precessed 09h12m22s +50 49'39"(2000) AAVSO header 09h12m24s +50 50 (2000) Findvga 09h12m17s +50 53'28"(2000) \\\\\\DI UMa b =S5305 = SVS 6692 S,120,30,S P,09h 08.9m +51 02' (1950) -C, 9.2067, 50.8333,2000 O,58,53,14.6,? -T,UG Care re mag 13.6 comp. -S,TA930321 R,6.10,52,107,A R,9.10,27,32,B R,11.50,61,39,C R,11.80,47,32,D R,12.80,69,51,E R,13.10,53,44,F M,9,37,4,101,105,110,21 M,10,116,71 M,11,65,97,53,83,62,82,78,79,34,113,107,48 M,11,47,104,105,118,25,107,67,87,17,119,18,63,112,61 M,12,87,2,98,39,2,33,24,74,19,97,81,9 M,12,75,21,27,114,29,22,2,82,105,50,67,102,17,75 M,12,15,50,82,110,9,77,31,117,90,23,18,111,27,61 M,12,18,57,39,99,111,118,116,102 M,13,39,9,37,47,19,8,20,4,96,16,100,33 M,13,73,13,56,35,33,96,83,7,19,40,34,25 M,13,103,67,33,83,18,69,49,49,26,16,2,97,41,53 M,13,84,100,73,21,98,45,71,70,76,17,102,74,56,119 M,13,34,30,96,51,106,119,19,52,14,91,60,113,69,83 M,13,80,2,46,35,91,85,69,23,37,24,21,14,66,73 M,13,77,68,100,38,56,69,115,86,109,6,114,116,116,89 M,14,76,5,48,3,95,29,35,74,5,51,27,46,30,34 M,14,71,58,60,10,6,72,82,73,105,13,34,75,90,75 M,14,86,75,46,49,60,33,21,76,95,82,62,101,30,70 M,14,10,70,33,84,27,55,40,15,45,60,47,35,43,107 M,14,91,22,39,119,82,96,3,104,14,104,9,63,101,83 M,14,59,48,109,76,73,60,38,113,34,60,36,119,20,40 M,14,99,74,43,103,105,95,72,110,27,65,41,111,79,22 M,14,60,100,6,57,6,110,97,115,33,104,97,13,58,52 M,14,35,38,77,13,106,30,61,97,87,59,96,14,4,67 M,14,18,31,77,62,15,61,39,35,102,66,46,50,4,116 M,14,108,9,111,49,117,109,117,119,111,53,119,19,111,1 E,172 ////// Basic chart automatically generated by GSC2FIND ver 1.4
