ELECTRONIC MAIL
We continue to experience problems with incoming messages to the
new UNIX box at Rutherford Appleton. It appears the system is
temporarily configured whereby the Vax and Alpha machines are
working in parallel. The effect appears to be that some messages
reach UNIX, some go to the old RLSAC (as yet not switched off) and
a few bounce back to the sender.
The correct INTERNET addresses for Rutherford and Cambridge are:
GMH at AST.STAR.RL.AC.UK (Rutherford)
GMH at AST-STAR.CAM.AC.UK (Cambridge)
It is recommended for the time being that important messages eg
discovery reports are copied to both sites,
