The object appeared bright near magnitude 10.5 on 1994 Mar 2.9UT whereas it was not recorded to a limit of 12.3 on a master photograph of 1990 Jan 22 (135mm lens K2415). The star is on TVMPSA of 1973 Jan 11.9. It is believed that the object is IRAS 06575+2612 located at: RA 06h57m31.7s DEC +26 12'38"(1950). The star is not shown on the AAVSO(c) chart for SW Gem. The Editor also has identified the object, using a new finders program shortly to be released, as GSC 1899.00620 whose catalogue position for (2000) is: RA 07h00m37s DEC +26 08'18".
