COMET MACHHOLZ (1994r)
Following the note on E891 regarding the apparent conflicting
reports of brightness relating to this new comet, we now understand
from Brian Marsden that the Klet confirmation was false, being
based on the wrong object.
However subsequently the comet has been confirmed at Klet on a
sequence of exposures secured on Oct 11 when the comet was
described as having a coma of 0.5' diameter and a tail 1' long to
the north-northwest.
