J. V. Scotti adds that the middle image gives m2 = 20.9, shows a coma of diameter 17" and a tail extending faintly out to 2'.91 in p.a. 262 deg. 1995 UT R.A. Care should be taken as indicated on the TA chart which mentions a close companion of about magnitude 13.0 about 5 arc seconds in PA 305. It would be helpful when submitting observations if it could be specifically stated whether both stars were seen and separated or whether the estimate represents a combined image magnitude. SV SAGITTAE This R-CrB type variable is fading as indicated in a report from John Toone, Shrewsbury, UK: 1994 Nov 28.745UT, 10.8; Dec 23.732, 10.9; 1995 Jan 2.270UT, 11.6; Jan 6.274UT, 12.0. An independent report from I.Tepliczky, Hungary confirms the fade: 1994 Dec 31.69UT, 11.1; 1995 Jan 2.69, 11.7; 3.69, 11.9. Guy M Hurst
