It is perhaps now brighter than at any time in the past several years. Recent observations (when outside of eclipse) by Bortle are: 1994 Oct. 1.1UT, 12.9; Oct.25.0, 13.0; Nov. 20.0, 13.1; 1995 Feb. 13.45, 12.0 (AAVSO sequence). Editor: Further reports on this object, now available in the morning sky, are encouraged. SV SGE John Bortle also reports: This R CrB-type star was suspected to be declining just before it entered the evening twilight and has now been re-observed in the morning sky as several magnitudes below maximum.
