The observation has been confirmed by Tonny Vanmunster on May 21.910UT at 10.2v. Tonny adds that the dwarf nova can exhibit a brief secondary maximum during its decline and therefore strongly urges observers to watch it carefully during the next phase. MARKARIAN 421 Professional astronomers have requested observations of this object made during 1995. Please send observations via e-mail quoting the date, time, FULL ESTIMATE, deduced magnitude, class, sequence used, and instrumentation details.
