T LEONIS
Tonny Vanmunster reports in Cataclysmic Variables Circular 38
issued by the Belgian Astronomical Society V.V.S. that T Leonis
has been detected in outburst by Patrick Schmeer, Germany on
1995 May 21.869UT at 10.4v. The observation has been confirmed by
Tonny Vanmunster on May 21.910UT at 10.2v. Tonny adds that the
dwarf nova can exhibit a brief secondary maximum during its decline
and therefore strongly urges observers to watch it carefully during
the next phase.

Professional astronomers have requested observations of this object
made during 1995. Please send observations via e-mail quoting
the date, time, FULL ESTIMATE, deduced magnitude, class, sequence
used, and instrumentation details.

TA 1968 AUGUST
During a project to bind all master copies of 'The Astronomer'
since the first issue in 1964, we have discovered that the 1968
August issue is missing. If anyone has a copy please send it on
loan to the editor. We will copy it and return the original to
you.

In the May issue of 'The Astronomer' despatched earlier today,
we enclosed voting slips based on the last volume. Subscribers
to these circulars may submit their vote by e-mail to the
Editor rather than the paper version. Please quote the names for
both the cover contribution (Alan Young Award) and for best
overall contribution. The votes should be based on achievements
in the period spanned by the last volume, 1994 May - 1995 April.
