THE ASTRONOMER 1995 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
This year's meeting will be held on Saturday November 25 at
St. Mary's Church Hall Rooms in Basingstoke commencing at 11am
with coffee available from 10.30am.

The admission cost is 6 pounds per person to cover the whole day
event plus morning coffee and afternoon tea.

An optional three course cooked luncheon will be provided under
the supervision of Anne Hurst at an additional cost of 7 pounds
per person.

This year we plan to advertise this event extensively which,
in addition to the announcement in the September issue of TA,
due for despatch around Sept 20, will also be announced on
the Internet and World Wide Web. We hope this will encourage
non-members to come along and also perhaps join TA at the same
time. I am, however, anxious, that all our existing members have
the opportunity to attend but am mindful that the capacity of the
hall is around 100 at the most.

For this reason I would strongly recommend you BOOK NOW and send
your remittance, made payable to 'The Astronomer' to the Editor
at the address at the top of this circular.

The agenda is still to be finalised but speakers provisionally
booked include John Mason (Indian Eclipse), David Strange
(Comets and Comms) and Nick James (World Wide Web). More will
be added and the full programme announced shortly.
