Word has been received at the Central Bureau from Japan of the
independent visual discoveries by Yuji Nakamura, Masaaki Tanaka,
and Shougo Utsunomiya of a comet:

M. Tanaka (Iwaki, Fukushima).  Discovered on Sept. 17.795 with
25x150 binoculars, visual m1 = 7.5.
