THE ASTRONOMER 1995 AGM
Since the announcement in E997, via the pages of 'The Astronomer'
magazine and also on the World Wide Web, bookings for the above
event have been brisk such that we already have confirmation that
sufficient people are coming to cover over half the hall capacity.
In view of this we ask that anyone who has not so far booked, send
in their remittance as soon as possible. The rates remain at
6 pounds for admission plus an optional 7 pounds for the three
course cooked luncheon.
Speakers provisionally arranged are:
John Mason (Indian Eclipse); John Mackey (CCD filters);
Nick James (World Wide Web); David Strange (Hale-Bopp).
Further speakers will be added.

COMET CONJUNCTION
There was an error in the announcement on E1004. The message
should have conveyed that Comet P/1995 S1 (DE VICO) would be
close to Comet C/1995 Q1 (Bradfield). Respective ephemerides
appeared on E999 and E1001.
