He will be assisting the main coordinator in the collation of images of galaxies as a library for the supernova patrol and will also help with the numerous alerts on both novae and supernovae which we receive during the year. Gary Poyner will continue as coordinator of the Recurrent Objects Programme. Initially discovery alerts should continue to be sent myself as main Editor.
