CHRISTMAS QUIZ
The announcement of the results relating to the 1997 Christmas
Quiz were delayed due to considerable debate over the answer to
question 7 where clearly opinions differ as to who named the
star as Cor Caroli. After considerable research the Editor has
concluded that the answer given below is the correct one rather
than Edmond Halley. The star's name was also used in 1673 on a
star chart by Francis Lamb.

The answers were:
