This BL Lac object, reported on E1292 by Gary Poyner, continues to
increase in brightness. Several observers have reported that
the paper (c) chart of 920227 makes identification difficult due
to faint stars and the small field.

We give below an e-chart covering a wider area and showing the
brighter comparisons which should be adequate for the current
brightness of this object.

Gino Tosti, Italy measured the V magnitude as 12.58 on
1998 Apr 22. He stresses that observations are all wavelengths
including visual estimates by amateur astronomers are vital during
the current exceptional activity.
