Don described the spot as small but brilliant. It was located between the equatorial belt and the SEB(N), system I = 8deg. David Graham provides meridian predictions for the spot: 1998 Oct 31 23h47mUT Nov 1 20h15mUT We urgently need further observations which should be e-mailed to the Editor. COMET 1998 U4 Timothy B.
