COMET 29P/SCHWASSMANN-WACHMANN 1
Andrew Pearce, Nedlands, Australia, reports an outburst of this
comet as shown by the following observations:

990312.79 S  13.6  HS  44.0 L     5 156  0.4   3           Hasubick
990327.79   [14.0      41   L            0.5               Pearce
990330.84    12.8  VN  41   L     4 200  0.5   6           Pearce
Comet in outburst! Rapid brightening has evidently taken place
since last negative observation ([14.0) made three days ago.
Strongly condensed small coma suggests that this is the early stage
of an outburst.  Unfortunately the moon will make observations
difficult from now on.

Bright moonlit sky, observation made at onset of astronomical
twilight such that the Moon is as low in the sky as possible.
Comet relatively easy to see even at low power.  Moderately
condensed object.

Bright moonlit sky.  Moderately condensed object.  Slightly fainter
than last night.
