DO DRACONIS
We are advised by professional astronomers that observations
under a 'target-of-opportunity' have been invoked on the Rossi
X-ray Timing Explorer satellite to study DO Draconis during its
current outburst (cf E1442, E1443).

Recent observations indicate the star is fading:

1999 Sept 21.760, 10.7 T.Kinnunen, Finland 0.44-m refl. (AA)
          21.799, 10.7 C.Jones, England 0.45-m refl. (AA)
          21.806, 11.2 E.Muyllaert, Belgium 0.21-m T (AA)
          22.438, 11.3 R.Modic, USA, 0.50-m refl. (AA)
          23.438, 12.3 Modic

Further observations are urgently needed and should be e-mailed
daily to the editor.
