V844 HERCULIS
Taichi Kato and Makoto Uemura, Japan report a CCD unfiltered
measure on 1999 Oct 1.464UT at magnitude 12.44 (0.25-m T +ST7).
They add that the October 1 observation indicates superhumps with
an amplitude of 0.09 mag was present in V844 Her. This finding has
confirmed the claimed superoutburst nature of the present outburst.
The light curve suggests the superhumps were in their early
development stage.  Follow-up observations are encouraged.

The editor has provided a revised chart (cf E1450) with extended
sequence by Henden to magnitude 15.29 which follows:
