Jha, P. Challis, and R. Kirshner, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, report that a spectrum of SN 2000bk (cf. TA E-Circular 1514), a supernova discovered by Mark Armstrong, was obtained on 2000 Apr. 25UT by M. Calkins with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope. This shows it is a type-Ia supernova after maximum light. Guy M Hurst
