A. Larsen and reobserved on May 3 and 6 by R. S. McMillan and J. V. Scotti in the course of the Spacewatch program at Kitt Peak and placed on the NEO Confirmation Page, was also observed on May 9 by M. Hicks and R. Fevig with the 2.1-m Kitt Peak reflector. G. V. Williams, Minor Planet Center, has identified this object, designated 2000 JW8, with (719) Albert, the last 'lost' numbered minor planet. Selected observations follow: 2000 UT R.A. (2000) Decl. Strolger et.al., University of Michigan and Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory (CTIO) and the rest of the Nearby Galaxies Supernova Search Team report the discovery of a supernova (R = 18.2) on images taken with the Kitt Peak 0.9-m telescope (+ Mosaic camera) on Mar. 24 during their March supernova search campaign (cf. IAUC 7404). SN 2000cd is located at: R.A. = 10h56m48s.69, Decl. = -5o34'40".8 (2000.0), and nothing was visible at this position on reference images taken on 1999 Feb. 23 with the same telescope. IAUC 7416 (extract) SUPERNOVA 2000ce IN UGC 4195 T. Puckett, Mountain Town, GA, reports his discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 15.0) on an unfiltered CCD frame (limiting mag 19.3) taken with the Puckett Observatory 0.35-m automated supernova patrol telescope on May 8.13 UT. SN 2000ce is located at R.A. = 8h05m09s.45, Decl. = +66o47'15".2 (2000), which is 15".1 east and 17".3 north of the centre of UGC 4195. IAUC 7417 (extract) BZ UMA (Q2000/262) Maciej Reszelski, Szamotuly, Poland reports an outburst of BZ UMa, an eruptive star on the Recurrent Objects Programme. The increased brightness has been confirmed by Gene Hanson (independently) and a follow-up observation by Chris Jones: 2000 May 13.016, 10.8 Maciej Reszelski (0.41-m refl.) 13.166, 11.0 Gene Hanson, Cave Creek, USA (0.46-m refl.) 13.895, 11.0 Chris Jones, Laindon, England (0.45-m refl.)
