The object was noted to be not visible and fainter than mag 12.0 on 1994 July 10.0UT but at mag 10.5 on a master shot of 1989 Dec 26.0. Mike deferred formal announcement until further research was carried out and he again reports on 2000 Apr 5 that it was recorded bright at the end of 2000 March. The editor, using SIMBAD, finds the object = CGCS 344 at: RA 02h23m20s DEC +48 43.6'(2000). It may also = LEE 247. Additionally the object is very bright on the digital POSS at about mag 9.4 although its very red colour may have caused this. The editor also examined nova patrol photos by Jack Grills (135mm + Tri-X) and finds it fainter than 11.3 on 1979 Dec 24; 1981 Dec 1,18,31; 1982 Jan 23, Feb 22. However on 1981 Oct 22 it is visible at magnitude 11.3. An e-chart and sequence follow: \\\\\\TASV0220+48 b found by Mike Collins S,400,6,S -C, 2.3891, 48.7271,2000 O,200,199,10.1,(12?
