ANNUAL AWARDS, VOLUME 36
As announced in the May issue of 'The Astronomer', it is once
again time for subscribers to vote on the best contributors to the
period covered by Volume 36 which ran from 1999 May to 2000 April.

The awards are divided into two categories:

1) Best contributor to the COVER material in volume 36 (The 'Alan
Young Award').

2) Best overall contributor to the magazine, TA in general and
to amateur astronomy during the same period.

A specific form was not enclosed with the May issue as the editor
would prefer e-mailed replies which need to reach me by June 10
please.

To assist please edit a copy of the form below inserting the
necessary details and send it to:

as soon as possible.

I would appreciate a larger percentage of voters than we saw in
recent local political elections (!) so we have a fair result. Anyone
who subscribers to the magazine and/or e-circulars may
vote. For this reason, this circular is also being sent to non-
ecircular subscribers.
