SUPERNOVA 2000cx IN NGC 524
Since the original announcement by LOSS of this discovery (cfE1545)
other observers have reported that the supernova is still
brightening. Estimates in the last few days, based on unfiltered
CCD images, show it may now be magnitude 13.5 or brighter.

More observations, both visual and via imaging, are needed of this
object, especially if it is on the rise. The following e-chart
with sequence by Krisciunas should assist:
