Australia reports his observation of a rare outburst of RZ Leonis, a possible WZ Sge type dwarf nova whose last recorded outburst was on 1987 Nov 28. Confirming observations have been made by Timo Kinnunen, Espoo, Finland and by Eddy Muyllaert, Ostend, Belgium: 2000 Dec 20.662UT, 12.1v (Stubbings, RASNZ seq, 0.32-m reflector) 21.21 UT, 12.2v (Kinnunen, VSNET seq, 0.44-m reflector) 21.222UT, 12.6v (Muyllaert, AAVSO seq) This star was discovered by M.Wolf on Heidelberg Plates of 1918 Mar 13 at magnitude 10.5. SUPERNOVA 2000fb IN ESO 205-G11 R. Chassagne, Ste. Clotilde, Ile de Reunion, reports his discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 15.8) on CCD images taken with an automated 0.30-m telescope on Nov. 29.96 and 30.01, and on Dec. 1.50 and 3.86 UT. SN 2000fb is located at R.A. = 5h57m41s.95, Decl. = -51o57'48".0 (2000), which is 6" east and 17" north of the centre of ESO 205-G11. IAUC 7536 (extract) SUPERNOVA 2000fc IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY M. Turatto et.al, Pontificia Universidad Catolica (PUC) de Chile, report the discovery of a new supernova (V = 22.4) on three images taken on Nov. 17.09 UT with the 2.2-m telescope (+ WFI) at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), La Silla, in the course of the PUC-Padova Supernova Search. SN 2000fc is located at R.A. = 0h58m33s.58, Decl. = -27o46'40".1 (2000), which is 0".3 west of the host galaxy's nucleus. IAUC 7537 (extract) SUPERNOVA 2000fd IN UGC 291 T. Puckett, Mountain Town, GA; and S. Gauthier, London, ON, report the discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 17.7) on an unfiltered CCD frame (limiting mag 20.2) taken with the Puckett Observatory 0.60-m automated supernova patrol telescope on Dec. 8.09 UT. SN 2000fd is located at R.A. = 0h29m12s.09, Decl. = +33o06'29".5 (2000), which is 7".3 west and 14".8 north of the centre of UGC 291. IAUC 7540 (extract) SUPERNOVA 2000fe IN UGC 4870 M. Schwartz, Cottage Grove, OR; and W. D. Li and A. V. Filippenko, University of California at Berkeley, on behalf of LOTOSS, report the discovery of an apparent supernova with the Tenagra III 0.5-m automated telescope. The object was discovered and confirmed on unfiltered images taken on Dec. 8.4 (mag about 16.6) and 9.3 UT (mag about 16.4). SN 2000fe is located at R.A. = 9h14m55s.15, Decl. = +46o54'02".0 (2000), which is 5".1 west and 9".5 south of the nucleus of UGC 4870. IAUC 7540 (extract) Guy M Hurst
