UV PERSEI (Q2000/330)
Mike Simonsen, USA has reported an outburst of UV Persei which
he estimated at 12.0v on 2000 Dec 25.242UT.

In response to an appeal to the TA Checking Group issued on
Dec 25 at 07.39UT (Q2000/330), Denis Buczynski of Conder Brow
Observatory obtained an unfiltered image of the variable on
Dec 25.83905UT with the 0.33-m f/3 automatic reflector + SXL8 CCD.
The editor estimated the star at 12.9 using the BAAVSS sequence.

John Toone, Cressage, UK also reports visual confirmation on
Dec 25.986UT at 12.6 using a Celestron 8.
