JOHN HOSTY
Upon returning from the BAA Winchester Weekend, I received news
from Stuart Hosty and Len Entwistle that John Hosty had been
admitted to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary for an emergency operation
to remove a growth in his stomach.

John has now given his agreement for me to release news of his
current condition. Some cancerous cells have been found and he
is to undergo chemotherapy in the near future. I have sent a card
on behalf of TA subscribers wishing him a strong recovery and am
receiving regular e-mails from his brother, Stuart, and friend,
Len, as to his condition. They are also printing out all TA
E-Circulars and taking them into hospital as John has taken a
very positive view of the help he is receiving at this famous
hospital and wished to be kept fully up to date with astronomical
news!
