TA ANNUAL AWARDS, VOLUME 37
The following announcement appeared in the June issue of TA and
stated the deadline for voting was July 5. In view of the number
of people away on the eclipse trip, relatively few votes have been
received and we are therefore extending the deadline to July 15.

It is once again time to invite all readers and subscribers to vote
on the contents of the last volume, number 37, which covered the
period from 2000 May to 2001 April.

Following suggestions from a number of our readers, the award
linked to the best overall contributor is to be named 'The George
Alcock award' in memory of one of the greatest contributors the
magazine has seen in its history.

As before two votes are needed:

1) Best contributor to the COVER material in volume 36 (The 'Alan
Young' award).

2) Best OVERALL contributor to the magazine and 'TA' in general (The
'George Alcock' award).
