Under deteriorating weather conditions, a variation between V=12.80 and V=13.05 was observed with a period of approximately 0.062 days. SUPERNOVA 2002bo IN NGC 3190 A report has been received on March 8 from Paulo Cacella, Brasilia, Brazil noting the presence of a possible new object of magnitude 17-18 in NGC 3190 as recorded with a 0.26-m Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope and HX516 CCD unfiltered on March 9. Weidong Li almost immediately obtained confirmation of the presence of this object. According to IAUC 7847, Yoji Hirose in Japan (discoverer of SN 2002ap) also recorded the object on various exposures of March 9. Kushida has provided a precise position: RA 10h 18m 06.51s DEC +21 49' 41.7" (2000) placing the object 11.6"E and 14.2"S of the galaxy's nucleus. It has now been established it was also recorded in a KAIT image of March 9 at approximately magnitude 16 but not on another image of March 2 to the limit of magnitude 19. SUPERNOVA 2002bp IN UGC 6332 Tim Puckett and A.Langoussis, USA, have reported on IAUC 7847 their detection of a magnitude 18.6 apparent supernova with the 0.60-m telescope at Puckett Observatory on an exposure of UGC 6332 obtained on March 8. The position is: RA 11h 19m 18.20s DEC +20 48' 23.1" (2000), 21.3"E and 26.0"S of the nucleus. Guy M Hurst
